How to Attain Enlightenment

is a 100 × 150 cm illustrated and embroidered work inspired by the Sumerian myth of Inanna's descent into the underworld and the Talmudic story of the Four Who Entered the Pardes. Although rooted in different traditions, both narratives describe transformative journeys marked by risk, sacrifice, and the pursuit of enlightenment.

By placing the two stories side by side, the work explores their contrasting movements: while Inanna descends into the underworld, the sages strive toward transcendence. Through illustration and embroidery, the two narratives unfold within a shared visual field, reflecting on initiation, loss, and the possibility of living a life of enlightenment.
